Well, that's another over hyped, enforced jovality christmas done with I'm glad to say. Mind you you've got to feel sorry for Jesus, fancy having your birthday on December 25th.We had 2 gigs before Xmas on the Wednesday we were at Hucknall supporting, er can't remember, but nil by mouths guitarist and Green Dates 6 stringer were in the band, it went OK nothing great, but it was a good warm up for our excellent christmas party at the Harrington, everybody had a good time, the new PA was a success, best we've ever sounded was the general comment, we did 2 encores and we even played Ace of Spades for the first time after I said there was no way it would be played, but things were going so well I thought "what the hell" and started playing the bass intro which bought a puzzled look from drummer boy and singer boy scrambling for his lyric sheet which he hadn't got ready cause I said we wouldn't be playing it, how me and guitar boy came out of the guitar solo together I'll never know but we did, must be reading each others minds, now there's a terrifying thought, bet he's thinking the same thing.
